ONE-TO-ONE
TV OR FILM
SCREENWRITING COURSE

8-12 weeks for TV or 6 months for FILM
from initial idea to finished script

You're thinking about paying your hard-earned money to a stranger on the internet…

…in the vague hope their Screenwriting Course will turn your career and life around, huh? Do you know how crazy that sounds?
Luckily for you, that’s exactly what I do! After reading over 1,000 scripts on my pay-what-you-can script reading scheme, winning some TV writing competitions, and making my first feature film, I’ve developed a 8-12 week TV writing course and a 6 month film writing mentorship that’ll turn your ideas into a script that will demand attention. And the best part is, it works!

What do we do on the course?

Initial Idea Development: Together we’ll discover your unique voice, explore your natural tastes, and explore existing ideas you may have and transform them into a compelling show or film that highlights your storytelling strengths. We’ll answer key questions: Why this story, and why are you the person to tell it?

Character Development: We’re not just creating characters; we’re crafting unforgettable figures with rich emotional depth. We’ll dig into their struggles, dreams, fears, and vulnerabilities to make them leap off the page and into the hearts of your audience, whether it’s for a feature film or a binge-worthy series.

Story Structure: We’ll master the art of structure—whether it’s a gripping feature or a captivating TV series. For TV, we’ll outline season arcs that have viewers hooked, complete with relatable themes, engaging subplots, and episode twists that keep them coming back. For film, we’ll shape your narrative to deliver maximum emotional impact from opening to closing credits.

Scene and Episode Outlines: We’ll break down your story into manageable, impactful segments. For TV, we’ll outline episodes in a way that keeps the themes and character struggles relatable, while for film, we’ll focus on how each scene serves the story and maintains momentum.

Script Writing and Drafts: Armed with a clear, structured outline, you’ll write your pilot episode or feature-length script with confidence. We’ll work through revisions, offering feedback to refine your work until it’s industry-ready and undeniable.

Pitch and Market Preparation: Finally, we’ll make sure you’re ready to present your project to the world. From crafting a killer logline to pitching your series’ scope or your film’s market potential, you’ll leave prepared to kick down industry doors and showcase your vision.

Who Can Apply:

These courses are intentionally designed for writers who are serious about developing their craft and pushing their work to the next level. I welcome projects from all genres and styles but look for bold ideas, distinct voices, and writers who are ready to dig deep and tell the stories only they can tell. Whether you’re crafting an art-house drama, a high-concept thriller, or a heartwarming comedy, I believe passionately in telling stories that are authentic, emotionally resonant, and fearlessly original. Your voice matters, and I’m committed to helping you shape a project that stands out and leaves a lasting impact.

I’m excited to work with those who are also passionate, ambitious, and ready to create something truly exceptional.

Why this course?

Flexibility: I understand you've got a life outside of writing, so we'll make the sessions work with your schedule and we’ll have as many sessions as it takes, no fixed amount.

Deadlines: However, I'll keep you on track with deadlines and follow up emails to keep progress moving at a consistent clip.

Feedback: You'll get written feedback and a 2-hour Zoom consultation at each stage of the course.

Personal Guidance: I'll be your writing coach, tailoring advice to your unique style and aspirations - reach out at any time with any questions you may have and I’ll be glad to answer them.

Exclusivity: Unlike other courses, I only work with 6 writers at a time so I can give you the time and attention you deserve.

By the end of this journey, you'll have a sitcom pilot, a TV drama or a feature length film script and a newfound ability to make people actually want to read your scripts! imagine that!!

Okay enough, how much is this going to cost me?

£890.00 for 30 minute sitcom
£1,450 for 60 minute drama
£2,750 for a feature length film

Ready to jump in? Let's make history together. Send me a message below with COURSE in the subject to set-up an initial 15-minute Zoom call and we’ll go from there!

Testimonials

We literally won The David Noobs Memorial Trust writing competition with a script that Adam helped us refine.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIVE STARS!

I now have a sitcom script whereas without Adam I would have still been sitting in front of a blank screen.

He’s a miracle worker – he’s helped me structure my disparate ideas, form characters, and actually write an entire script – a process which changed from ‘un-ascendable mountain’ before working with Adam, to enjoyable and all-consuming with his help.

The sessions have been really good fun - he’s incredibly knowledgeable and supportive and the whole process has been invaluable.
— Jessica Brooks

Signed up for the last run of this. Adam is ace. Dedicated to helping, great, to the point advice. All round swell guy. If you’ve ever thought about writing for TV and just never got round to it, I really couldn’t recommend him enough.

Can 100% recommend Adam - helped me get my airport sitcom off the ground (pun very much intended) and provided a writing structure that made sense.

Plus gave me a great tip about doing 5 things a day that has really helped me (he’ll tell you more about it)
